Pre and Post Scalp Tricopigmentation Treatment Care

Please take note of some special care procedures before and after Tricopigmentation treatment. Below you will find all the necessary information regarding pre and post-treatment care. Please strictly comply with these instructions because this is the only way we will get the best result in the shortest possible time.

Following pre and post-care instructions are vital to obtain the best results

CARE BEFORE TREATMENT:

Dry Skin

If you have dry skin on your scalp please use almond oil 2 to 3 times daily for a few weeks before the treatment.

Seborrhoea Dermatitis

If your skin is really dry and flakey red, itchy with large flaky scales then you may have a form of Seborrhoea Dermatitis,this is a fairly common skin disorder that looks similar to psoriasis, eczema, dandruff or an allergic reaction, in infants it is called cradle cap. It is a chronic, relapsing and usually mild dermatitis Please consult a dermatologist or an alternative medical skin specialist to have this treated prior to scalp micro-pigmentation. CARE AFTER TREATMENT:

In order to obtain the best possible treatment results, it is vital to follow the aftercare instructions as set out below

The day of treatment:

  • Let the treated area rest

  • Do not apply any product and do not clean the treated area

  • Avoid wetting the area or using any soap in the treated area

  • Avoid submerging the area in water, including water containing chlorine or salt

  • Avoid excessive sweating (sports)

  • Do not use a sauna or a Turkish bath

  • Avoid using helmets, caps, hats or hair prostheses for a prolonged period

  • Avoid exposure to the sun

  • Do not shave your scalp

Two days after treatment:

  • Clean the treated area very softly in the morning and at night with the Beauty Medical post-Tricopigmentation shampoo.

  • Apply 1 or 2 doses of the Beauty Medical post-Tricopigmentation serum in the morning and at night on the treated area

  • Avoid using any product for topical use that has not been previously presented

  • Avoid submerging the area in water, including water containing chlorine or salt

  • Avoid excessive sweating (sports)

  • Do not use a sauna or a Turkish bath

  • Avoid using helmets, caps, hats or hair prostheses for a prolonged period

  • Avoid exposure to the sun

  • Shave if desired

  • Avoid going to the barber

Seven days after the treatment:

  • Clean the treated area very softly once per day with the Beauty Medical post-Tricopigmentation shampoo

  • Apply 1 or 2 doses of the Beauty Medical post-Tricopigmentation serum on all the treated area

  • Avoid using any product for topical use that has not been previously presented

  • Avoid submerging the area in water, including water containing chlorine or salt

  • Avoid excessive sweating (sports)

  • Do not use a sauna or a Turkish bath

  • Avoid using helmets, caps, hats or hair prostheses for a prolonged period

  • Avoid exposure to the sun

  • Shave and/or go to the barber if desired

USEFUL INFORMATION

Redness or itchiness are normal reactions after the treatment

The use of the Beauty Medical post-Tricopigmentation serum alleviates the redness, the itchiness and helps the scalp to regenerate properly

CONTINUOUS CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Always protect against the sun with high protection factor (SPF 50)

  • Touch-up appointment after 30 days (after 60 days in certain cases, such as camouflaging scars)

  • Evaluation appointment after 6 months to establish the annual maintenance plan
